Italian voters decide “No nukes!”

Italian overwhelmingly rejected plans to generate nuclear power in Italy in a referendum held on Monday. The margin was apparently greater than 94%. Water privatization was also rejected.

Entergy filed suit in US District Court on Monday, 4/18/11, against the state of Vermont to prevent the state from closing the Vermont Yankee reactor on its March 2012 closure date.
